綠色賽事

《永明閃耀人生跑》全力支持環保事業。

要為環保事業出一分力，我們會以行動履行我們對支持環保賽事的誠諾。經過與不同的社會服務機構及環保團體的通力合作，我們會在是次《永明閃耀人生跑》中實踐以下各方面的環保誠諾：

- 所有於活動內有用過的塑膠水杯、水瓶、膠袋、紙卡板、及紙箱將會被收集，回收及重用。
- 所有食剩的水果將會送去食物回收工廠作堆肥之用。
- 所有食剩的食物及飲料將會送去救助食物的慈善團體。
- 所有餘下的衣飾物料將會送去衣物回收公司。
- 為減小使用塑膠水樽，大會會使用大型水樽為跑手提供食水，不會再另派發水樽以減小使用塑膠材料。
- 環保水站會於跑道起跑／終點上及主場地中為跑手及參加者題供食水的補給。跑手及參加者們需自備手樽以盛載飲用水。
- 環保回收箱均設於跑道起跑／終點上及主場地中。

如何可以令今屆賽事更具環保意義？

- 應使用公共交通工具及穿梭接駁巴士往返比賽場地而不要駕駛自己的車輛。
- 記得自備可重用水樽以盛載大會提供之食水。
- 請使用大會於場地為大家準備的回收箱。

Green Event 
 
The Sun Life Resolution Run is a Green Event that supports green initiatives. 

As part of our commitment to organising a green event there will be a number of green initiatives in place. By working with a number of NGO's and green programs, the Sun Life Resolution Run will undertake the following as part of their commitment to making it a green event: 

- All plastic water cups, bottles, bags, cans, cardboard and paper cartons from the event will be collected and recycled 
- All fruit residual will be sent to a food recycling plant for composting 
- All left over food and drinks will be sent to a food rescue NGO
- All left over clothing will be sent to a clothes recycling company
- Water will be provided in large water carboys which are reused with no individual water bottles being distributed reducing the use of plastic
- Green water stations will be provided for runners on the course and at the event village to all participants to refill their cups/bottles using their own reusable water cup/bottle
- Recyclable bins will be placed at the start and finish lines and at the event village

How can you help to make the event more green?

- By taking public transport and the shuttle bus to the race venue and not driving your car 
- By bringing your own reusable water cups to fill up water at the water stations
- By placing your recyclable items into the recycling bins that will be provided for the event
